The Great Race is a cross-country antique car rally that starts in Rhode Island and ends in North Dakota. This year’s rally includes an overnight stop in the Perrysburg Historic District. (WPRI) — Over 130 classic cars started their engines at Rocky Point Park in Warwick to begin the “2022 Hemmings Motor News Great Race.” The race will travel through 19 cities in Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin and Minnesota before ending in Fargo, North Dakota. Classic cars, some more than 100 years old, from the United States, Japan, England, Australia and Canada, will line up at Rocky Point State Park in Warwick on Saturday for the start of a 2,300-mile rally to North Dakota.
